If you are a new vegetarian, or thinking about becoming vegetarian, the best advice I can offer to you is to never think of consuming a plant-based diet as a “restriction” or not being “allowed” to eat certain foods. Instead, think of it as an opportunity to take your taste buds on the ride of their life! That, my friends, will make you a true Veggie Diva (or Dude).

A Little About My Daily Eating Habits:
If you want you want to label me, I would be a “pescatarian.” My seafood consumption is very moderate though (only a handful of times a month). I’m in this for the health benefits, and I love the way not eating junk feels (and seeing below-the-charts triglyceride levels on my blood analyses). I completely agree with animal rights and believe our food system is very flawed in so many ways. This is why I choose [mostly] plants!
